If you want to get a good overview of Salamanca and then explore it all yourself, this tour is made for you. We will see the most important monuments, giving you a good general idea of the city. We will visit the Plaza Mayor, Clerecía, Casa de las Conchas (shell house), the University with its 2 patios, the Sky of Salamanca (15th century painting) to finish with the 2 Cathedrals (old cathedral and new cathedral). We will entre the cathedral and the historical building of the univerity.

Emblematic building covered with more than 200 shells, if open we will go inside to see it´s patio. Right in front the church of Clerecia and the private university of Pontificia. Really astonishing all toghether.
Here is where the university of Salamanca started, in this building of the 12th century in old romaseque style and in the beginning also used to defend the cit. The new cathedral is from the 16th century with gothic, renaissance and baroc style. Here you will get surprised by how the stone can be carved. Observing the plateresque facade of the historical building of the univeristy
Salamanca has the oldest univerity of Spain. It has been a very important influnece in spanish history. Go and see how the classrooms were in the 15th. century. See what the student had/has to do to become a good student by following the story which is told at the staricase and have a look at the 3rd most important library of Spain.
We will end at the plaza in front of the new cathedral.
